Robin's skill in war tactics is unparalleled. He is highly ingenious, creating strategies on the fly and even whipping up crazy plans or new war tactics out of pure inspiration. Because of his mindset, Robin is highly perceptive. Able to read the feeling in the room quite easily.

Robin is an avid reader of books. He has a penchant for history, but will read anything from novels to poetry to book on random skills he has no use for. His brain simply seeks knowledge. While friendly, he a tendency of getting exasperated, particularly with people more...lively than he is. He generally cares about the well being of everyone.

Though modest to a fault, he is prideful of his tactical and magical abilities. If bested in anything Robin will feel completely dejected. If there's one thing Robin has problems with, it's self-confidence. Many times through the game Robin expresses insecurity in his abilities to lead the shepherds through war. He often compares himself to people, exemplifying their strengths, and his weaknesses. This is especially prominent in romance. Robin constantly compares himself to all the other suitors around him and how much better they are than he is. Failing to see the differences between him and others.

When it is later revealed that Robin was born with the intention of becoming the vessel for Grima, he becomes incredibly conflicted and lost, wondering if he can even be trusted any more. However, he learns through the bonds he has formed with Chrom and the shepherds that he is not what the future has laid out for him. He goes on to be incredibly self-sacrificing, giving up his own life to better the lives of people in the future.
